Baseline
Clinical status
Infected anal glands approximately the size of a walnut.
The glands were drained, and the incision was treated with laser.
A collar was applied to prevent the dog from biting and licking the wound.
The dog did not tolerate the collar and showed shivering, whimpering, and an oozing postoperative wound.
Day 1-3
Method
Treatment with PLASMO®VET
3 minutes, three times on day 1 post-surgery, followed by a single 3-minute treatment the next morning as monotherapy).
Result
The dog became relaxed after the first treatment with no signs of discomfort.
The following day, the wounds had dried.
By day 3, the wound showed normal progression of healing.
