Baseline
Clinical status
Infectious wound located at the outer edge of the foreskin around the penis.
The pony shows discomfort, itching, extensive purulent secretion, and aggressive behavior.
Prior treatment includes painkillers, tranquilizing medication, and nutritional supplements, combined with three months of antifungal ointment and laser therapy during the final three weeks, without observed effect.
Day 17
Method
Treatment with PLASMO®VET (3 minutes, twice daily)
Treatment with PLASMO®VET
3 minutes, three times daily for three days, without any concurrent treatments.
Result
After one day of treatment, no purulent secretion is observed.
The skin at the outer edge of the foreskin appears pink and clear.
The pony shows no discomfort and works energetically with the rider.
The following weekend, the pony competes at the Danish Championships, where it places second and wins a silver medal.
