Baseline

Day 0

Prior treatment

Treatment included painkillers, tranquilizing medication, and nutritional supplements, as well as three months of antifungal ointment and three weeks of laser therapy, without observed effect.

Clinical status

Visible inflammation and purulent wound exudate consistent with an infectious lesion located at the outer edge of the horse's foreskin around the penis prior to treatment with PLASMO®VET.

PENIS CANCER

Week 1

After 7 days of treatment.

Method

Treatment with PLASMO®VET 3 minutes, three times daily for three days, without concurrent treatment.

Clinical outcome

No purulent secretion observed after one day of treatment.

The skin at the outer edge of the foreskin appears pink and clear.

No observable signs of discomfort; normal behavior during handling and riding.

Return to competition the following weekend at the Danish Championships, achieving second place.
