Clinical
Canine
Infected anal glands approximately the size of a walnut. The glands were drained, and the incision was treated with laser. A collar was applied to prevent the dog from biting and licking the wound. The dog did not tolerate the collar and showed shivering, whimpering, and an oozing postoperative wound prior to treatment with PLASMO®VET.
Infectious wound of the foreskin
Equine
Infectious wound located at the outer edge of the foreskin around the penis. The equine patient shows discomfort, itching, extensive purulent secretion, and aggressive behavior. Prior treatment includes painkillers, tranquilizing medication, and nutritional supplements, combined with three months of antifungal ointment and laser therapy during the final three weeks, without observed effect, prior to treatment with PLASMO®VET.
